BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN OFFLINE AND ONLINE

For our engagement with Matter Brothers Furniture, our goal was to create a more cohesive digital presence to complement and enhance their TV and offline media/in-store experiences, producing high-performing channels and campaigns. Bringing the offline store experience and aesthetic to the brand’s online experiences in its content, social, email, web, blog, landing pages, and digital advertising, we also created and implemented a measurement strategy allowing for more visibility into marketing performance.

MERCHANDISING FLEXIBILITY

We developed new merchandising/editorial emails for this client to help tell the brand story, introduce experts and expertise, and help consumers make a choice with relevant, useful, and trend content. The emails were based off modules, which can be arranged to create various templates — offering a range of flexibility for design and overall messaging. In addition to design, our team was responsible for the content calendar, blog writing and email copywriting and subject lines.

THE LINE

Over the course of 8 months, through diligent subject line and email design/content optimization, we were able to lift the average open rate from 19% to consistently over 30%. Click-through rates also grew. And for the first time, the brand was able to measure the e-commerce sales impact of emails.

Solution

CONTENT IS KING

We maximized the current blog design and also expanded the blog categories and tags, added more photos to the blog posts to help provide inspiration, created an editorial calendar, and cross-promoted the content through email and social media. As a result, there was a 136% increase YoY in blog landing page views and a 130% increase in blog page views.

In one year, we were able to deliver the equivalent of a 14:1 return on ad spend over 18 digital media campaigns that delivered nearly 8,000 actions of high intent,
influencing nearly $2M in sales.
