Adult Camps…they’re a thing.

Fifteen years ago, Michael Jordan held Senior Flight School in Las Vegas. It was an adult dream camp, four days in Vegas, getting coached by MJ himself. The hitch was that it was only open to men in their 30s who could pay $15,000.

These days, adult summer camps are thriving around the country. From Camp Bonfire in Pennsylvania where you canoe, do arts and crafts and roast s’mores, to Camp Shenandoah Springs in Virginia which leans more into outdoor sports like mountain biking, rock climbing, and kayaking.

Our favorite, though, is THE ORIGINAL ADULT GYMNASTICS TRAINING CAMP. For those who did high school gymnastics and are feeling nostalgic for pyramids and pommel horses….Yes! You can join the presale list for the July 25-27, 2025 camp.

Surprisingly, there’s a dearth of branded adult camps, though. The most notable one is NASA’s Adult Space Academy that offers interactive weekend expeditions that simulate space missions. Bicycle brand Trek created their own travel company, Trek Travel, to combine intense cycling training with scenic bike tours around the world. Their Mallorca 7-Day Ride Camp sounds pretty badass: you stay in a restored manor nestled on 370 acres of the Mallorcan countryside, spend the day biking along the coast, and recover at the end of the day at a spa designed for “optimal recovery.”

We have some crackerjack ideas for branded camps…

Kino’s sandal making experiences in Key West.

A week at the dog park by Pedigree.

Jousting training camps at Medieval Times.

Camp Couch Potato sponsored by Netflix.

Socially Awkward training camp that includes role-play sessions like “Meeting Your Boss in the Restroom” and awkward silence endurance challenges sponsored by Headspace meditation app.
